TCP/IPA

I finally got around to bottling my IPA. I expected a final gravity around 1.022 and it turns out that I got 1.018! Which means my TCP/IPA is going to have an ABV of 8.1% Whoa. It tastes excellent too.

Very floral aroma, plenty of bitters though not overhelming. Closest.... Hmm. Stone brewing makes a beer called Arrogant Bastard (or also Double Bastard) which are reasonably close. They also have a crazy hoppy beer called Ruination IPA which also has similarities (you can get some Stone beers at the Premium Wine and Beer shop on reservoir). The main hop is Amarillo so if you can find a brewer listing ingredients like Rogue and you can spot a 7-8% IPA you'll probably have a close match.

We should meet over a beer at Calhoun's sometime. Then I could pass along some of my bounty ;)
